It appears that they are able to position and control x-rays without the use of a stepper -- something that would save a customer an additional cost of approximately $7-9 million. I don't know how much JMAR will add to the cost of its device to do that, but I'm presuming it wouldn't be as much as the cost of the stepper. It also sounds like this is a pretty small, compact piece of equipment which would offer more flexibility in the type of settings it could be applied to. This really IS big news in that it creates a brand new technology. Betty
