He is now officially the President and Chief Medical Officer. As James T. Kirk... William Shatner was the Captain of the U.S.S. Enterprise and now look where he sees opportunity and is wasting his time.... William Shatner, the spokesman for the latest Internet IPO Priceline.com (PCLN), saw prices of the online ticketing venture beam up over 345% in its first day of trading. The company's $10 billion market cap now matches the valuations of Delta (DAL) and United (UAL) and gives Shatner an estimated $7 million stake. If Dr. Pressman can command that type of valuation for ACMI then my hat is off to him. Otherwise it just means that the company is attempting to inform the marketplace they still exist. Perhaps they got a little nervous when they saw the share price take another nose dive.<g>
