MicroTel International, Inc. (NASDAQ Small Cap: MCTLC) today announced its 41%-owned affiliate Digital Transmission Systems, Inc. (DTS) (OTCBB:DTSX), a leading telecommunications network access equipment manufacturer, and ALLTEL Supply, have concluded an agreement under which ALLTEL Supply (NYSE:AT) will use their extensive nationwide and international presence to distribute DTS network access products. ALLTEL Supply has placed an initial series of stocking orders, for two of its wireless affiliates, totaling approximately $3,000,000. ALLTEL is an information and technology company providing wireline and wireless communication services, and a leading distributor of communications and data networking equipment.
The agreement with DTS is coordinated with a strategic move by ALLTEL Supply to enter the EF&I (Engineering, Furnish and Install) market.
