B: ABLE TELCOM HOLDING CORP. ANNOUNCES CONTINUATION OF EVALUATION PERIOD

WEST PALM BEACH, Fla., March 31 /PRNewswire/ -- Able Telcom Holding
Corp. (Nasdaq: ABTE) today announced that the Regional Consortium for
Electronic Toll Collection and the prime contractor, Able subsidiary
MFS Network Technologies, have agreed to continue evaluation and
testing of the Violation Processing Center.

The Consortium will meet with MFS on April 8, 1999, where MFS will
deliver a status report. During this period, all provisions of the
agreement announced on January 22 between the Regional Consortium and
MFS shall remain in effect.

Able is a leading international telecommunications systems integrator,
project developer and facilities manager of innovative, large scale,
facilities-based fiber optic and other communications networks for a
range of customers including emerging telecom service providers,
entrepreneurial Internet Service Providers, and many of the world's

manages advanced intelligent transportation systems which include
automated toll collection systems and electronic traffic management and

It was acquired by Able from MCI/WorldCom, Inc., which remains one of
Able's significant customers.
