TO ALL- A portfolio manager ( a long time investor
in CSCC) and myself had a telephone conversation with Paul Blondin,
CFO at CSCC ,this afternoon. I will summarize the most important
points and will add detail to any area (if I can)if you have a
question.
1.He is still comfortable with the 22 cent estimate for this quarter

2.There has been nothing in the operation of CSCC that has changed
since the earnings conference
3.The Sahara Group received 3.8 million shares of which they could sell 1/2
4.The comments regarding CSCC losing business are not true--The
comments pertaining the loss of Worldcom business happened 8
months ago and was not lost business because at that time CSCC
did not sell the product Worldcom needed (ATM)
5.The big drop today was partially caused by a big momentum investor
totally dropping CSCC from their portfolio
6.regarding CSCC not saying anything to quell fears of investors--
Mr. Blondin stated that he is constantly on the phone + he
is continually meeting with analysts. They feel that putting out
marketing type publicity is not helpful because no one cares about
that. And since there is NOTHING new since the earnings conference
they have no news to put out to public.

I will continue this in the next post--The last time I put a long post
through,it went off in to cyberspace and probably ended up in the Cindy Crawford chatroom!!!!
