Another option:

Use the troops you have there now in Macedonia and move into
Kosovo along the roads the refugees are using. Make contact
with forward most serb units and hold them there. Carpet bomb
all serb positions behind that point. Then bring in the Apaches
and reinforce NATO positions as soon as possible.

What the hell ever happened to this Global rapid deployment force
the Pentagon used to harp about so much?
Dont tell me they need monthes to prepare for a limited ground
offensive.
