I do not think it is a shame at all, since it shows the beautiful possibilities of capitalism. Case has shown how well a company can succeed when the PR goes under the skin of the people and the street.
IMHO, if Greenspan would not have rescued the Capital Growth Fund, a lot of even more interesting possibilities would have occurred for the small investor than the ultrahot Internet stocks.(The fat lady has not sung yet, though...)

PS. I am aiming for a short stretched out in time, with a complete cover buy around 2002-2003.
