Has anyone been looking at the balance sheet of this company lately?
I have. Unfortunately, I don't have my work product handy or I'd post it (I hope to post it tomorrow). Anyways, what I remember from my work is a continual decline during the last year in APPBs current ratio and quick ratio. They have an item on their balance sheet that refers to "other" current liabilities (can't remember the exact name but the word "other is included in the title) which has been steadily growing from quarter to quarter while cash and cash equivalents has been steadily declining (although inventories and accounts receivables look ok).

How can a company claim to have "earnings" when their current liabilities continue to rise? Shouldn't those earnings have been used to pay down their increasing current liabilities? I don't know what is responsible for the increase in current liabilities. I'm hoping that the sale of Rio Bravo will allow the company to recapitalize itself and reverse the upward trend in current liabilities.

Has anybody else looked at this?
