Ditchdigger, Just came back from a management meeting. Two major OS companies offered us a 20% reduction of rates on wireline services and the other on downhole xylene treatments. One company said they'd consider a similar deal on acid jobs. I'm sure you're thinking the same thing I'm thinking. I asked them if this would ding their profit margins and they replied not much as they've reduced their cost structures... Just a little piece of evidence suggesting that OS companies are adjusting their cost structures to accomodate the lower prices. This should also help "goose" their profit margins as things pick up in the oil patch....
