Earlie, I'm glad you asked Curlton Latts about his identity. I, too, think he sounds amazingly like that infamous stock promoter, Carlton Lutts, and that one-letter transposition was just too coincidental. Amazingly enough, although Lutts and his son were instrumental in the Presstek fiasco, they still publish their Cabot Market Letter, which used to be full of glib optimism, obsession with price action, and phony fundamentals.
Perhaps they were chastened somehow, though, since I saw a recent Lutts quote that stocks are capable of going down as well as up, something that Curly probably doesn't really believe if he thinks Micron is a "strong" stock. <g> /Kit |
