Note: Total flow is negative so far today, but marginal demand is strong and persistent. The inelasticity with respect to marginal demand and the simultaneous elasticity with respect to marginal supply which essentially represents the true fundamentally based sentiment remains in tact. So, in spite of net flow out, price rises. Price is sensitive to the upside. In contrast the London gold fix reached a new marginal low today, so those buying mine shares are betting that bullion price will rise. When shares move before bullion it generally indicates that a bull move is developing. I am requesting that no one respond to this note.
