I believe that the MM's are doing their best to pick up as many inexpensive shares as they can. It is relatively only a short time before this company is listed on the NASDAQ. So, as I see it, why not do what they can to drive the price down, before the big run up.
I also believe that the day traders, or rumour riders were somewhat disappointed that they did not hear the news they wanted to hear earlier in the week. When there was news, but not the news that they wanted to hear, some of them bailed and took their eyeballs to another play. They are purely speculators, and not investors in this stock. There is nothing wrong with that, and I kind of expected this to happen. And actually, I look at this as great opportunity to pick up some more stock, or better priced options, before it starts to go. In my opinion, it could be soon (few days, 1 -2 weeks, etc.).
