<<.i guess not even e-machines can bring dell down...>>

edamo: Yesterday I spent a few hours interviewing with a new pre-IPO e-commerce firm called iprint.com. They have about 65 employees and are growing fast. I noticed A LOT of DELLs at their HQ in Redwood City, CA. In my last interview I asked the VP of Operations about their experience with DELL. He said they make fantastic PCs and servers. He told me that in the last year they tried an experiment and went with a few low cost machines -- didn't hold up and meet their standards. He actually admitted "that it was worth paying a little premium" to go with the best. Nothing like standardizing on DELL. IMHO, MSD can compete with anyone on price, performance, quality and service. DELL seems to be playing quite a roll in many of these fast growing high tech firms.

Just Some Thoughts..

Best Regards,

Scott
