In the mountains of Colorado our pipes are from 18" (natural gas) to 6' (water) deep. I would expect that this is as deep as they get normally anywhere in the country. I have installed water lines for ski areas up to 11,000 feet elevation and these units for snowmaking systems use a tremendous pressure. Typically over 200 psi water pressure. They are usually installed at about 4' by using a D-9 ripper down the mountain and detection of leak would be critical in these applications. We have gas pipelines that leave our area for production plants and they need detection also. These gas lines are using a pumping pressure of 700 psi minimum. Again, leak detection critical.

Once again these devices have unlimited potential. The future is bright. So bright I gotta wear shades.

Holding till the cows come home. Relax, take a load off and forget about it.
