LU will keep adapting to changing circumstances...

Yeah, I guess they've done well ... during all 2 years of their existence. Life under T doesn't count.

BTW: What ever happend to your pulse dial phone? Those disappeared pretty quick.

Remember BR... LU generates huge revenues from circuit switching. They have a vested interest in slowing down change. CSCO does not,... therefore CSCO can, and will be, more aggressive at making change happen. LU, simply due to revenue reasons will have to take a slower ride on this train or risk halting existing revenue streams. It'll get tought as LU will need to develop similar technology. It'll be tough for LU sales people to maintain their circiut switched revenue stream when the customer asks...so what's your roadmap. How will you support me going forward? The customer will say, "I understand you're developing IP telephony".. "Why then should I buy a circuit switch which costs me so much more...why shouldn't I wait?" It's one of the toughest things to do in business. LU hasn't had to re-invent themself like this - EVER. It's a brave NEW WORLD! Whatsamatter BR? Can't take it? Make no mistake - covergence WILL change communicatinos as we know it. No one said it'll happen overnight, but if you're going to invest $200M in new equipment you certianly should think about waiting. OUCH! That's gonna hurt.
