There is a lot of bad information about HABE being bandied about on the internet by individuals who succeeded in spiking the stock to .75. I spoke with Haber management yesterday and they believe the stock has gotten quite a bit ahead of itself and is overpriced for the following reasons: 1. Orex is a newly formed mining company with inexperienced management. They do not even have any properties yet. Their mining operation will not be profitable in 1999. 2. They are in talks with a Canadian mining company and a Latin American mining company but the talks are in the preliminary stages and nothing is imminent. Haber does not expect any forthcoming news on these talks for at least six months.
The price decline of the stock began today. Sell some shares tomorrow and you should be able to buy them back next week in the .12 to .15 cent range.

There is quite a bit of embellishment in the message from the raging bull. Haber management feels the stock is way ahead of itself. Orex is a brand new mining company with inexperienced management and no properties. How does that add $1-$3 to the price of Habe. The negotiations with the two other mining companies are in the early stages and Haber does not expect to have any deals to announce for at least six months if at all. Haber is not meeting with a head of the German textile industry. He has a meeting with someone on the European board of standards. Again this is a preliminary meeting to show the EMP technology not a meeting to sign any deal.
This stock has a history of spiking to .75, due to irrational exuberance, and then falling back down to .10 when reality hits.

The news on Haber has been greatly exaggerated. I spoke with Haber management yesterday and they are concerned with a certain number of people promoting the stock with embellished tales of great fortunes to be made on the stock.
The Orex deal in no stretch of the imagination adds $1.00 to $3.00 to the value of Habe. Orex is a startup mining company still trying to fill their initial subscription. Orex's management has no experience in the mining industry. They do not even own any property yet. Assuming Orex gets off the ground, they certainly will not be profitable for a couple of years.
Habe has had discussions with a Latin American mining company and a Canadian mining company. However, the talks are in the preliminary stages and no deals are imminent. My contact explicitly said he did not believe any good news would be forthcoming on these talks in the next six months.
Haber is not meeting with the head of the German textile industry. He has a meeting to present his technology to a member of the European board of standards. Again, this is an initial presentation. If a deal were to happen, and I emphasize "if", it certainly would not happen overnight. Remember, this is business. Deals take years to come to fruition.
My contact also said he saw no reason for the stock to be trading at the .60 level. He said none of the current news or the forthcoming news justifies that price level. If you can still sell at .35 cents tomorrow, you should. The stock should creep back down to the .15 level in the next few days.

I was not trying to drive the price down at all. I posted after the market had closed yesterday. I am a shareholder myself. I just thought people should know the real and true facts, not the embellished ones posted recently by a certain individual. Current Orex shareholders who participated in the subscription purchased their shares at 1.00. Once the restriction to sell their shares is lifted from those Orex shareholders, there will be enormous selling pressure on the stock. Current volume on the stock is 20,000 to 40,000 shares. What happens when 1,000,000 shares come on the market?
If Orex trades down to 1.00, where does that leave Habe? Make your own decisions. |
