If PTCH stock makes a sustainable rise then this decision will look great. If not, it will prove that Mr Munn was not the cause of the stock's difficulties. I think the board of directors should be looking at themselves, as it was their selling each time the stock started to rally that has put a cloud over the company.

I'm not close enough to the company or to it's management to know how this change will affect the day to day operations.

I am still very shocked. My initial reaction is that the BOD wanted a scapegoat but your concept of Talisman wanting to force the change seems very plausible!
