earlie, thanks for the excellent commentary. These "research houses" are pure hype. None of them called the biggest decline in semi sales since 1985 but many on this thread are not surprised by the decline. Their forecasts are nonsense even without a global recession. Forget about recovery in Asia until the world weathers the impending downturn of the US bubble economy. mike
