DiViT,

I am not sure, do you know?

I just saw the report on CNBC regarding "emachine corp". Has anyone heard of this company? They're still private, so most to most people they're probably an unknown quantity.

Interesting business though, they specialize in the sub $600 PC market, and sales this year are projected to reach $1B. They are the #4 PC vendor in the sub $1000 market.

My point, you ask? Well it seems that more and more the PC is becoming just a tool to get people on the internet and nothing more. Sure they may be able to use it for spreadsheets and word processing, but that's not the main reason these machines are hitting the market.

So the question you put forth, DiViT, will become a bigger and bigger concern as this initiative picks up steam.
