I lucked into GERN too! I was still getting my feet wet w/Qcharts and hadn't been doing too well for awhile (My portfolio had dwindled to less than half). I was sitting in cash toward the end of the day and just wandering around Qcharts looking for something interesting when I stumbled onto this little stock (GERN) that had been drifting steadily upward all day on increased volume and no news. Well, I got in at 9 7/8, thinking I'd get a little upward movement before the close, and (hopefully) finish the day on an up note. Meanwhile I was doing more DD and lliked what I saw. The stock was just the right size and, foolishly, I had almost my entire portfolio in it. By the close it hadn't done much so I thought “what the heck, maybe they discovered the cure for cancer or something” and decided to hold it overnight. You shoulda seen me yellin' and hootin' and jumpin' around in my underwear when I got up in the morning and logged on!! Sold it at 22 1/2 and in one fell swoop I had recovered ALL of my losses and my portfolio was very nicely ahead! Man, what a rush!! Geron was all over the News the next day and I was sittin' there saying “Yep...I bought that one yesterday.” My only regret was not using my margin account and buying twice as much but, at the time, it didn't seem too smart. So to MIKFREE let me say...I know where you're coming from...I hope this FORE deal works out for you (and all of us). That was my best trading day (percentage-wise) ever. One good move can make all the difference. Go FORE!!!!!
