If it makes you feel ant better, there's still a bunch of dedicated Commodore users who absolutely refuse to buy an IBM. They have found ways to make their Commodores do things the creators of the machine never dreamed of. They have gigabyte hardrives. RAM upgrades. High speed modems. Well, you get the picture. Personally, I have a Commodore 64 and a few thousand games. Some games were never properly adapted to the IBM, so I still get use from my Commodore. But I find people who are trying to turn their Commodores into multimedia powerhouses complete whackos. BTW, how much did you pay per share for your Commodore stock?
