What's causing the rise? My first thought today was that it was the day traders playing on the news release. I'm sure a lot of it was day trading but the strong close indicates there were a lot of non traders getting in. PNLK has had a very large following since its big runup last year. With the internet frenzy there are multitudes out there waiting to jump into the next "internet darling." I'm sure there is a lot of caution because this is not a retail site and B2B has yet to produce a big winner. But, it is an "internet" stock nonetheless and has "get rich quick" written all over it. One of these days a PR is going to come out and the day traders are going to jump in big time and run the price up a point or so. Then, those who are waiting for a sign that the run is on will jump in and we won't see the end of the day decline that comes from the traders exiting. A lot of the recent steady rise is due to the imminent release of V3. Most of us expect a pretty good spike when the new site hits the net. There are probably a sizable few who are in the stock just for that rally and will sell into the rally. Whatever is going on we all "knew" it was going to happen sooner or later. If I were sitting on the sidelines right now I would be looking for the best price I could find tomorrow to get in. Until V3 is out there won't be any big downside (and the downside only exists if it is a bust). I don't think we have seen the runup that will accompany the debut of V3 so there is still good potential on the upside. Little downside, large upside. Internet stock. 150% increase in the past few weeks. Ran to 8 last year with only a skeleton of a business. Now fully fleshed out with even more to come. Big names talking about it. Sounds like a pretty good place to put your money, doesn't it? Can't wait for tomorrow. Today may have just been a dress rehearsal. David
