TouchStone Software Corporation Appoints Calvin Leong Chief Financial Officer

NORTH ANDOVER, Mass.--(BUSINESS WIRE)--March 31, 1999--TouchStone Software Corporation (Nasdaq NMS:TSSW - news) announced today the appointment of Calvin Leong as Chief Financial Officer. He will report directly to Pierre A. Narath, President and Chief Executive Officer. Ron Maas, who has held the position for over 8 years, has resigned to pursue other business interests. Mr. Maas will remain on the Board of Directors and will work closely with Mr. Leong during the integration process of the recently acquired Unicore Software, Inc. and TouchStone.

Mr. Leong holds a MBA in Finance from Columbia University and has an extensive background in management, business start-up operations, acquisitions, mergers, and IPOs. Before joining TouchStone, he previously was the Manager of financial planning and analysis at Award Software International, and after Award's merger with Phoenix Technologies, Ltd (Nasdaq:PTEC - news), Mr. Leong served as Divisional Controller.
