Are you perhaps forgetting that ALL computer makers and sellers have lost something in terms of market share and profit margins? CPU is not any worse off dollar-wise than Dell, Compaq or any other major purveyor of computers since the advent of PC's selling under $1,000 (and now under $800). This doesn't mean CPU can't be a viable store and internet site. Plus, it hasn't truly been proven yet that any box-maker or seller is going to have a bad year--people still need to buy computers, if for no other reason than to gain access to Yahoo.
