We have had at least 2 separate news articles yesterday and today quoting USR spokeswomen saying that the reports of additional week or two week delays of x2 are wrong, that the modems would ship in "a day or two, if not hours, we will put out a press release when the modems ship", also "we are shooting for tonight or tomorrow morning" (that was said yesterday). Also we have had reports of CompUSA stores saying they do think they will have the modems Sat. or Sunday.
All that said, I am trusting that USR Had better be putting out a press release sometime between Sat. Morning and Monday or at latest Tuesday, saying the modems are shipped, as in gone, down the road. I'm going to be screaming mad if this does not take place.
But, I think it will, and USR will quickly be forgiven as on-line junkies start bragging on-line about how surfing at x2 ROX! The rest will be, as they say, history.
