How about this tired line, "This cash infusion furthers our ability to grow our business of providing voice-enabled services for telecommunications carriers and Internet companies," commented Steve Markman, General Magic's chairman, chief executive officer and president. "The added financing will help us build the market for voice-enabled services, which analysts predict will reach $2 billion to $3 billion by 2001 in the U.S."
In 2 or 3 years, the market will be a totally different animal to what it is today. It's clear there's a big effort to make portable phones very similar to computers. Of this 2 to 3 billion, we shall see such a wide variety of services. Its ridiculous to suggest Portico is the only kind of product to fill this demand.
<And, since I'm feeling rather bitchy right now, >
Now that you mention it, I'm feeling rather bitchy as well.
