I am quite sure Lorne, that if you liked ABER as a stock, you should love Winspear. In your first post on this thread this month you said that you were chasing me over here, now you claim that you are a Winspear shareholder (or might be) and accuse me of attacking you.
Well I did suggest that you should buy some Winspear, so if you did, welcome aboard.
However, what I see is a half dozen anxiety posts, or spam, if you prefer, on the Winspear thread, all puffing up the merits of the nuisance suit put forward by your board to deflect attention from them, until your time limits have expired for you to take action against them.
I did own some shares in Aber from last fall and if you wish to check way back on the Winspear thread you will actually see me recommending Aber for the fact that it was marginable and should benefit from the developments at Snap Lake. I sold Aber immediately when I say their release regarding their "suit". It is a non starter with regard to merit. In my own opinion it reveals way too much about the management of Aber to make me comfortable.
I note that you hang out in the biochemistry department and if you told me the chemical formula for my DNA, I would not argue it with you. You should know your own area.
Please feel free to check my profile. I have not altered it for your benefit. If I was a little harsh in criticizing the "court" action by your board and hurt your feelings in the process, I apologize. However, I have to admit that I find your reactions as an Aber shareholder somewhat suspicious. I would either sell the dog or take some action against the board for the unneccessary loss of shareholder value due to ....
Winspear and Winspear shareholders did not cause the problems which Aber is facing at this time. The Aber board was solely responsible for ensuring compliance with the requirements for maintaining Aber's interest in Snap Lake. What do you think that Franko Nevada will have to say about this? Will they settle for the head of one board member?
Anyway Lorne, this suit by Aber is going nowhere, unless you think that you can convince judges all the way to the Supreme Court that Aber is really special and deserving of special treatment in their business dealings. Good Luck with that. WInspear will have more value per share than Aber and will in all likelihood be producing and selling valuable gems from an open pit mine before Aber starts building a mine. I think the conclusion is obvious. If you act fast you might get 3 Winspear shares for 1 Aber. It is really a no brainer at this point.
