Times have changed... E-trade is becoming a huge market force. I think coffee, particularly the gourmet stuff you can't find at the supermarket, is a very internet-marketable commodity. Baked goods, except for seasonal items like fruitcake, are not going to do as well over the internet - for now, at least. I can't imagine UPS delivering a birthday cake in one piece. There are eleven MDMI-run J-C cafes now, which, we're told, are making a profit. We'll see when the financials come out. Phil Hernandez at DosComercios reports that Massimo's has someone working on a 10Q and that the float should be somewhere between 6 - 7 million. Much better than I had assumed. On balance, I think there's good reason to be optimistic. No foolin'. ____________________________________ Marc Stager
