Finally did it. Have Gateway PII-400 PC and just completed my "monitor build out". Added an ATI Xpert98 AGP card to my THREE ATI Xpert98 PCI cards. Each card is connected to a Viewsonic VPA150 flatpanel display giving me a total of 432 sq. in. of viewing space. Only "trick" was that it was necessary to remove PCI cards and install AGP card first with proper settings, then add the PCI cards back in. Even though the PC boots up to the PCI card first, the settings are based on the AGP card as it is designated "primary" and the PC card "secondary" EVEN THOUGH the boot menu appears on the PCI driven monitor.

The software I run on this system is DBC Signal where I track 45 real time charts, over 100 quotes, news, etc. After boot-up with 4 monitors running, my resources show 83% free. However, after I run the DBC Signal RT application, they are reduced to 13% free. This is after I have already disabled all programs running in the background such as Antivirus, etc.
Does anyone have a suggestion or any "tricks" that can be done to increase the resource availability. While I have enough to run what I want, it would be nice to not have to cut things so close. Pardon my ignorance, but what causes the limitation? Is it memory, processor, or .....??????
