Sure, the option may be less volatile that far out of the money. But what about the implied volatility priced into the option (that's the volatility I was referring to -- sorry I was unclear)? Paying 10.x to be able to put 25 points below market isn't my idea of fun.

Of course, as always, that's JMHO.
