What a day! Too bad I couldn't watch the excitement due to my hectic schedule. I agree with many that today close is just the beginning. As a matter of fact, IMHO, today's strong close signifies a new PNLK. This stock, for the last 9 months, could never keep up with the rallies in the past. Always came crashing down to a disappointing close after reaching an intra-day high of around $3 buck. Daytraders were having a ball while long-term investors rolled their eyeballs up and shook their heads. "Not yet... not yet... now is not the time... be patient now..." So it went.
Today's close tells a different story. We have a PR that really hits your face. Serious stuff. So serious that it is kind of surreal that PNLK is an OTC-BB stock. But it is. Our year of waiting, crying, screaming, fighting, and whining was really a test. Yes, a test of our own 'faith' and 'perseverance'. Those who are still standing are finally looking at the sky with a big smile. To me, this whole year of down draft was really a blessing in disguise. Like others, I also took the opportunity to more than double my original investment at bargain price. But to double down in the face of a down draft requires a huge leap of "faith", definitely not everyone cup of tea. IF PNLK begins a steady climb up from this point and never return to this level again, then those who doubled-down will be much better off than if PNLK took off to the moon last year.
My take is that PNLK will move slowly upward (perhaps with some roller-coaster in between) during the next few months on news regarding V3 and new strategic alliances. But the significant moves will come from news regarding revenues number. These numbers, if positive will carry PNLK to an unprecedented level. Therefore, I will not expect PNLK to blast off big time as of yet. Perhaps in the teens for now if there are more big surprises regarding strategic alliances.
I have another gut feeling that this V3 may be more than we expected. Seems like everyone who looked at the prototype came back a believer. You could sense that from all the PRs that came out so far. Yes, I can't wait to see it for myself. A couple more weeks and we will find out.
I like to thank Cigarholder for his informative post. Good to see DStand post again even though he lost his tail - "ish". <g> Enjoy Ted M's, terri's, and ztect's as well. In fact, enjoy everyone who posted to the thread. For we now have a thread where everyone respects everyone, which is also very timely in light of PNLK rise to maturity.
