I'm looking to upgrade my computer over the next few months as well. Since much of the "new" techonology (AGPx4, the real next gen videocards, etc) is coming out this fall to winter, I've decided to upgrade to a Celeron-based motherboard (maybe even socket-370). I've been planning on building my own, so I'll pick good quality components I can transfer to my new machine one Intel/AMD finally release their newer products.
So I'll need an ATX case, a new soundcard, and a new 19" monitor, and, of course, a new V3 videocard.
I think that Intel and the PC box makers are going to be hurt over the next little while as there is no compelling reasons to buy the high-end machines right now.
