I always tend to add the short interest to the float.

An arbitrary example: There are 3 Mil shares out of which are 2.4M held by insiders, makes 600k in the float.
Assume a short interest of 1.2M shares, borrowed from any PWCC holders. Subsequently, the borrowed shares are sold into the market.

Hence the effective float appears to be not 600k but 1.8M then.

For PWCC, 361k, or some 60% of the float are shorted.
