Dear ABOV colleagues:
I don't day trade so I don't even try to understand, for now.
However, I can tell you that the institutional investors are very keen on ABOV, as indicated by the large number of 10K+ trades, particularly on the upswings. (EXDS has about 55% institutional ownership whereas ABOV is only 11%). Paine Webber and Lehman have already recommended it in addition to a few smaller firms. I bet you that firms like Fidelity, Janus, and Alger are accumulating aggressively. After all, there are't that many choices in Internet play left if you exclude the "obvious" ones like AOL, YHOO, and ATHM.
My bet is that ABOV will, as a trend, keep going up with much gyration, but the institutions will drive this stock much higher than most of us expect, particularly if ABOV can present itself as a solid, infrastructure company, rather than a "hot" internet play.
I bought some at 28 and doubled my position at 67. Plan is to hold until market cap is at least $10-12 billion (7-10X) from where we are now.
Any thoughts or comments?
