i don't believe i even hinted that these companies were new.... just believe there is a lot of room for financial hanky panky. keep in mind, mrv clearly does a lot of r&d. if they truly believe in these satellite companies, i think it would have made a lot of sense to buy them outright. this is not exactly the same situation as INTL, which is seeking diversification because they have far too much cash flow and need to make acquisitions. If Schlomo's son is that damn good, he should have been hired and the results of his r&d could be put to work directly for the company.... i really don't like the potential problems, but i didn't say i was selling the shares i own due to it. i do, however, wish i would have taken more time to look at this before i made my initial purchase and it has affected my decision making process in whether or not i should buy more shares. further, if the company is sitting on all that cash from the convert, i may make a little sense to buy some stock back at this point (clearly, they aren't exactly sharing with us how they plan on using it).... if nothing else, it wouldn't hurt to see SOMEBODY at the company buying.... greg
