Date of Most Serious Loss of Identity: 1985
Circumstances: perp used Norton Utilities to unerase source code for major commercial product. Federal Court system decided source code of small company (unlike Microsoft) is "unworthy" of protection. Perp turned loose to do it again

Reason For Membership: Once asked by Federal Court judge while testifying as an expert witness if I was a hacker. Realized at that point that the Court understood the profession of software engineering to be something like safe cracking and all programmers to be hackers of various abilities. Shock drove me to digitalme for protection.

Other qualifications: Religiously watched Dragnet as a child
