Peter-

Sorry to hear you bailed out, but probably not a bad decision. Certainly it's understandable. I think I'll wait two or three quarters and then reassess. I recently added some SSPI to my portfolio- at least they are better at PR than BWSI.

If BWSI's Power PC product were simply a ruggedized product, then I'd be inclined to think they were responding to a specific customer's needs. But they have three versions of this product for different environments, so they may be simply hoping there's a market for it. Well I'm sure they know the market better than I do, but it still strikes me as an odd new product line.

Anyway, today's news is not good, although they may have the management depth so that it's not a serious negative for the company. Here's hoping this does not seriously derail Yates or BWSI.

BWSI President and Chief Executive Simon Yates underwent surgery to remove a benign tumor and is expected to return to work in the next several months.

An interim management committee will serve during Yates' medical leave, including Executive Vice President Rob Shaddock, CFO Charles Brockenbush, European President Julian Jenkins and Vice President of Worldwide Sales Kevin Parslow. Yates is recovering in a Dallas-area hospital.
