I especially don't understand why, contrary to what is
supposed to happen, option prices don't always seem to move with stock prices. I look
at my most recent CC's, and a few days later wish I had just done some swing trading
with the darn stocks. The stocks jumped, but the options didn't move...or went down.
Hope Herm gives some resources for us to look at.

In keeping with this note....I put in a limit order yesterday to sell CC's on SAVLY April 12.5's......it was something like 3/4 by 7/8 all day yesterday.....I put in my limit order at 13/16...and watched the quotes yesterday and today......The bid...as far as I can tell....NEVER ONCE got over 3/4........(12/16)....and yet I got my 13/16 order filled. It think the market maker sometimes just sees one close enough....and decides it is, or is not worth his time...if it's close enough....
but...i still don't really understand what they can, and do, do

----------
and I just had another one that way.....I just sold...QAJDB....the April 10 CC's on CYBX.....It has been all morning 9/16 by 13/16.....and I got a very quick fill at 5/8 (10/16...to insult everyone's intelligence :-) )......

What do the rest of you do...put your limit orders in at halfway in between the bid & asked? What about the various exchanges....the CBOE quotes pages show that you may get a better price on one of the exchanges, compared to the others....
