AT&T said that the company will spend $2 billion in 1999 (ladies and Gentlemen, $2 billion in 1999) to build out its network in new markets and expand capacity in congested areas. Lucent will subcontract out for this project. Who is going to get it? MPDI? May be, but they are ready have the backup book problem, production lines very limit to get new, big contract. PWAV?
