Have we suddenly become MORONS? BOGUS 4 billion dollar "contract" by WebNode.

Easy, did you READ the news article? Or did you allow your sense of greed to allow you to see whatever it needed?

Here is the first paragraph of this press release by WebNode:

SAFETY HARBOR, Fla.--(BUSINESS WIRE)--April 1, 1999--WebNode.com today announced it has have been granted an exclusive contract by the US Department of Energy (DOE) Office of Science (formerly Office of Energy Research) to raise $4 billion in funding . .

Let me restate that:

WebNode.com today announced it has...been granted an exclusive contract. . . to raise $4 billion. . .

I get it now. . . .APRIL FOOLS. . .

They release a website to RAISE money, then a press release stating that they will be RAISING money, but the greedy see it as a SHORT WAY TO RICHES. . and are sucked into SPENDING money. When you are "led" to the WebNode website, you get to read the sales pitch. . .designed to make whatever money possible for the owners.

Who are the owners, incidently? Those that are spreading the "news" all over cyberspace perhaps?

You guys that posted between 8:57am and 9:36am with a full understanding are hilarious. . . and I must admit. . .you had me going there for a second.
