Glenn, my broker is a VP with Merrill and talks to the research guys often. I am not saying he got any info from the research department but he is well wired at Merrill.

Right now the only stock I have in the group is Cisco. Are you aware that Merrill Lynch never has had a 1-1 on anyone in the group, like 3Com, CSCC, Cisco, etc. I bought Cisco when the guy at Merrill upgraded it to an accumulate short term. He now thinks it is accumulate short term, buy long term. I noticed publically they rated CSCC a hold short term and accumulate long term. Definitally not a buy. The only communications stock they have a 1-1 rating on is Teleport. I think this is because number one they brought the IPO to market and the analyst believes it is a 99% play on a takeover.
