Sure, I'm bothered. The connection I see is that Datek has a problem, for whatever reason, in timely processing of in/out funds. It stands to reason (seems to me), that if they can't handle that, then they will be equally bad at processing tons of checks for all kinds of amounts. In/out funds happen far less frequently than regular checking account activity. If they have trouble with the low-level activity, I can imagine how the intense checking activity would look.
