Off-Topic: Computers and OSes (Windows NT recommendation) Back when I didn't know better and had to use Win 95/98, life was okay. Had to reboot the machine every few days if not more often. A few lock-ups, crashed applications, and occasional blue screen. Memory management was poor (often fragmented and requiring lots of swapping to disk). Then I smartened up and installed Windows NT, and life was good. Much more robust, barely ever reboot (still have to once in a while), memory leaks are not as common. Generally a more stable system. The interface is close enough to Win 9x that it's an easy transition (I manage our company's computers, and I've converted everybody over to Win NT from 95... everybody is happy and my job is easier). If you are buying a new machine primarily for business productivity (ie, very few games or 16-bit DOS-requiring applications), it's probably worth your while to purchase it with Win NT installed, or to switch to NT shortly after if you aren't afraid of installing drivers manually (without too much plug-and-play help).
