For those of you that subscribe to PC Magazine, Dvorak spouts an interesting read in his op-ed columns. First, Microsoft has issued it's memo stating that AOL is the number one threat to the company. Glad Bill is starting to see the light.

Second, Dvorak throws out a gem about AOL considering offering free pc's to anyone that signs up for two years of service. $527 for each signup would more then cover the cost of a basic internet PC. One could only imagine the market penetration of such a device, with the marketing power of AOL behind it.
