The 5 year consensus growth rate I saw was 38.48%. Where's the 25% from? (25% is good too, but I like 38% better). The earnings projection I saw on Yahoo was, as I included in yesterday's post, $.67 for 1999 and $1.27. They didn't include a 5 year projection, but even 38% for the future would indicate a subsequent slowdown from the 90% growth rate from '99 to '00...unless they're figuring it retroactively. If so, that's less relevant to the stock price than are future projections. Where DO they get future projections anyway? Atmel's looking good today, but one swallow does not a summer make. Cheers/t
