Here's an excerpt from the press release that went out last year when Kathleen Terry was hired.
NORRIS COMMUNICATIONS NAMES NEW CFO AND VICE PRESIDENT OF FINANCE
San Diego, CA. May 20, 1996. Norris Communications Corp. (NASDAQ: NORRF) named Kathleen Terry as its new CFO and Vice President of Finance... "Kathleen's track record of success in startup and turnaround situations will help the Company meet its strategic and financial objectives," said Bob Root, CEO and President of Norris. "We sought her out because of her experience in technology companies of all sizes, and her specific knowledge of the investment needs and the growth curve we expect to achieve. We are extremely pleased to have her join our Executive Team."
Kathleen Terry has been a member of the Company's Advisory Board since November 1995. She has held CFO, Director of Finance, Vice President, Treasurer and VP of Finance positions at a variety of manufacturing, biotech, and communications companies over the last dozen years, including BioSafety Systems Inc., IRT Corporation, Carlisle Memory Products Group, and MTEL.
Ms. Terry stated, "My objectives as CFO and Vice President of Finance include keeping the operation focused on its financial goals... The Company's restructuring efforts to date have impressed me, and I feel that with continued implementation of the Strategic Plan, we will effectively reach our revenue and profitability goals." - - - - - - # # # - - - - -
Mr. Falk joined the company early in 1995 as the Vice President of Business Development. His primary responsibility was OEM sales, both domestic and international, and he has a background in OEM sales.
Here is an excerpt from the 1/10/97 Press Release announcing that Mr. Falk was promoted to President:
Fred Falk has been named President and will oversee the day to day operations of the company. Formerly, Falk has been the Vice President of Business Development and has been providing strategic direction for the company as a leading OEM provider of digital voice recording technology. He was instrumental in completing the private label agreement with Sanyo Information Systems U.K. Ltd. and the OEM contract with Lanier Worldwide, announced today. "Our business goals going forward are to establish Norris Communications as a developer of technologically advanced products and to solicit strong strategic OEM partners like Sanyo and Lanier," said Falk.
There was no press release when he originally joined the company two years ago, so I will look up what history is available and send it under separate cover.
