I was worse than that! Greenberg accused Amati of licensing from *Paradyne!!!* I still laugh thinking of it. Talk about a gaff!
Thanks, though, for reprinting the excerpts from different press releases. I get more out of each one every time I read them. Information builds on information. "Ah, yes, look at that. He said it way back in March," I'll find myself saying. Well, whatever it was didn't make sense back then, but it does now. It's the same with word of mouth. We hear something from the CEO and then months later the information's become twisted or tweaked in some way and we wonder if we heard right the first time, but then it comes out in the press and our faith is restored. I was teasing Pigboy when I said my feelings were hurt. Yes, I try to post only what I believe to be true, but that's not to say, 1) I heard correctly or 2) the facts haven't changed or won't change at some point.
I try not to post rumors until I've had them confirmed with several sources. And believe me I've got a list of them as long as my arm. I'm sure RC thinks I've got HQ bugged. Some times I'll ask him a question and I can almost hear him thinking, "Now where on God's green earth did she find *that* out!"
Someday I'll tell him about my network. How about when Amati's split six times???? :))
