Ooh William, what a witty zinger! And it fit into your "laconic 1 or 2 or 3 sentence reply maximum size."

Of course, as you probably didn't know, 90% of the crap shot into orbit falls back to earth VERY quickly, as in less than 3 years. Without constant propellant use, the velocity simply isnt there.

I suppose if you were designing a communications satellite for Amazon that you would look at the moon and say "Hey, the moon's been up there for a LOOONG time, i'm sure our satellite will be fine with half the fuel."
