There is TASKBAR OPTIONS & START MENU PROGRAMS. I don't find a
"start-up" to double click on.

Right click on your Start button then explore
that should show you everything that is on the start task bar
click the + on Programs then open the Startup folder.
This is where any programs that automatically start when you turn
on your computer are
These are only shortcuts and can be deleted if you do not want
them to constantly run in the background
Some programs put a shortcut there when you install them

you can move these shortcuts to a separate folder if your not
quite sure you want to remove them and put them back later
if you want

hope this helps
Alf
