Thanks Robert. I agree with the article, IF... and that is a big IF, production cutbacks remain in place. The problem is that all companies will have established an inventory of projects to go ahead with once oil prices stabilize to take advantage of higher prices.

Again, the most basic of economic principles apply here... supply vs. demand. The non-OPEC countries have readily shown there ability to pump out additional production.

Will OPEC react, as they have warned that they might? In the end, nobody knows for sure.... my opinion? It is a temporary reprieve.... unfortunately. Too many poor countries need the cashflow and non-OPEC countries can quickly make up the difference.
